Gold Master
Programming Department
The Gold Master build needed to have as many bugs squashed as possible, as it would be the 1.0 version released on Steam. All of the departments switched their primary focus to playtesting to find bugs for the programming department to try and fix. While not all discovered bugs were fixed for the Gold Master build, a significant number were squashed.
Art Department
Slight tweaks were mae to certain sprites, such as the computers and the desks, to better fit the camera perspective. Additionally, an Easter Egg was added to the chemical storage room to reference our sister studios' games IntroSpection and Mausoleum of Memories. Post-processing was added as well as lighting being fixed in certain areas. Like other departments, the focus of the art department was largely shifted to playtesting & bug reporting for this sprint.
Narrative Design Department
Minor script changes were made to the Level Dialogue. Additionally, it was requested that the UI displays the name of a room when the player enters it, so all rooms now have viewable names. Like other departments, the focus of the narratvie department was largely shifted to playtesting & bug reporting for this sprint.
Audio Design Department
With the first public release on the horizon, the Audio Design team decided to upload the BioDive OST on BandCamp for free. The album can be accessed through either the embedded player on the right or through the Game Info tab. Like other departments, the focus of the audio department was largely shifted to playtesting & bug reporting for this sprint.
